Supporting MHCC
Your financial gifts directly support our congregation’s ministries, the care of our facilities, and our commitment to local and global outreach. We offer several distinct funds to ensure your generosity aligns with the areas of ministry you care about most. You can donate in several different ways:
- Online: You can visit our Online Giving Portal to make a secure, one-time or recurring contribution as a logged-in member or as a guest.
- In Person: You can place checks or cash in the offering basket during our regular Sunday morning worship service.
- By Mail: Checks can be mailed directly to the church office at: Murray Hills Christian Church 15050 SW Weir Road Beaverton, OR 97007
Fund Designations
If you wish to allocate your funds to a specific purpose, you can specify that online, on an envelope when donating in person, or on your check by the mail. Here are the many ways you can support us:
General Church Ministries & Operations
- General Fund: Supports the day-to-day operations, pastoral leadership, and core ministries of our congregation.
- Building Maintenance & Audio: Helps us care for our physical facility, maintain our technology for visuals and audio both in-person and online.
- Building Usage: This fund is for outside groups (i.e. non-member wedding or funeral) or current tenant/gratis organization making a donation.
- Fellowship: Funds our community gatherings.
- Memorial Funds: Supports memorial services held at MHCC.
- Music Ministry & Performance: Funds the music that enriches our worship.
Community & Global Outreach
- Family Promise: Supports our collaborative ministry providing shelter, meals, and housing support for families in need.
- FEDICE: Supports our ongoing ministry with FEDICE in Ecuador.
- MHCC Food Pantry: Directly purchases food and supplies for our local neighbors experiencing food insecurity.
- Week of Compassion: Channels resources into global relief, development, and sustainable community empowerment programs.
Seasonal & Special Offerings
- Easter, Pentecost, Reconciliation, Thanksgiving: Special seasonal offerings that support specific holiday ministries and community outreach events.
- Christmas: This account send funds directly to “Special Day Offerings” run by the Disciples Mission Fund.
- Christmas Family: This is for donations for Greenway school Back to school and Christmas outreach.
- Church Family Camp, Vacation Bible School (VBS), and Youth Mission: Provides scholarships and resources for families and youth camps, trips, and educational programs.
- Special Needs: This fund is to help needy members within MHCC confidentially.
