3rd Annual Lift Every Voice
A Special Choral Event with singers bonded by our love of choral singing.
The genesis of Lift Every Voice Choir came out of a desire to know our neighbors, to build friendships through music, and to share the joy of a “bigger choir experience.” Our main focus is community building, both for us as a choir community and also for those who come to sing with us. It is an extra happiness to sing together with singers representing a diversity of faith paths.
This fall, our music ministry is opening up rehearsals to build a welcoming choir community for local singers. If you love choral music, or want to bring inspiration back to your own congregation, there is a place for you here! No auditions required.
Rehearsal & Performance Schedule
Repertoire: “A Celebration of Love and Joy” (a jazz mass by André Thomas), and additional selections including but not limited to “Big House” by Kyle Pederson
Rehearsals (5 weeks): Sundays from 2:00–4:00 PM (Begins September 13)
Dress Rehearsal: Saturday, October 10 from 9:00 AM–12:00 PM
Concert: Sunday, October 11 at 4:00 PM
